New Pennsylvania

Consisting of the former U.S. States of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, new Pennsylvania is the second smallest region in the New World. It contains the walled cities of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with more than a couple cities that had been destroyed to contain the virus.

Once one of the major economic centers of the Old War, New Pennsylvania has since become overgrown by the trees they had cut down centuries earlier. Despite their reclusive nature, the Mennonites and Amish who had once lived in the state have since died out and replaced by those who had survived the plague.

New Maryland

Consisting of the former U.S. States of Maryland and Delaware, New Maryland is the smallest region of the New World. It contains the walls cities of Baltimore and the Washington Metropolitan Area. Maryland was one of the few regions to be untouched by the bombs of the military in order to control the infection. The low population of the state didn't appear to be an issue with them.

Like most of the New World, trees have reclaimed much of the land it once inhabited. Many of the people who inhabited the area had fled to the larger states in hopes of avoiding people who may have had the disease. People only started returning the the area about five years after the plague ended in the hopes of finding a new area to live.

New Virginia

Consisting of the former U.S. States of Virginia, West Virginia, and Kentucky, New Virginia is easily the largest region of the New World. It contains the walled cities of Louisville, Lexington, Hampton Roads Metropolitan Area, and Richmond, with more than a few large cities that had been destroyed to contain the virus in the later years of the outbreak. Most of the cities in Virginia were untouched, save for Charleston which was bombed by the military before the collapse.

Once one of the major economic areas of the Old World, New Virginia has since become an area where populations have flocked to due to its varies landscapes. The western half containing mountains and the eastern half containing flatlands and rolling hills, it was a dream for those freshly out of a home. A lot of the Pre-World towns are inhabited within New Virginia. Despite this, nature has tried, and succeeded, in reclaiming much of the land back.

New Carolina

Consisting of the U.S. States of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, New Carolina is the second largest region in the New World. It contains the walled cities of Charlotte, Raleigh, Columbia, Charleston, Memphis, and Nashville, with more than a couple cities being destroyed by the military before the collapse.

One of the major economic centers of the Old World and home to its fair share of military bases, New Carolina is home to a lot of towns established, and taken over, by the military. That have since established these as military Rules using their training and vehicles salvaged. Despite this advantage, only a few towns remain under Military control. Like the rest of the world, nature has reclaimed much of the region.
